RE-Thermal Wrenches,

I visited an '80's SHW location where the owner likes to paint. He covered
the flexible portion of the Oatley style metal/"rubber(?)" flashings with
latex(?) paint and the flexible portion was still _very_ flexible. Even the
painted wire ties holding the sensor leadwire onto the piping insulation
exterior were not at all brittle.

Looks like paint covers a multitude of sins - both on human faces and on
building "structures".

Thanks, Bill Loesch, Solar 1 - Saint Louis Solar, tel/fax 314 631 1094
