Peter, 

Can you clarify why you say the DC disconnect needs to be on the outside
of the building? Section 690.14 indicates the disconnect can be inside
the nearest point of entry. There is also an exception there that
directs you to 690.31(E) that allows you to run through metallic conduit
to the first readily accessible disconnect. 

What am I missing?
