Hi Todd,
                Depends on the size of the battery. I use traction cells in
my systems (electric forklift batteries) and my understanding is the
conditioning charge is in the order of 100's of amps for several hours.
Really makes them boil.  I have seen the room where this is done and talk
about the smell of brimstone!

Also there are undoubtably a whole host of local safety regs you would need
to comply with to set up such a facility.  The best palce to get this info
would be from whatever source will supply your dry batteries.  They should
be able to tell you the process they require to activate them.
