Hi Jeff,
I have ad an idea for a long time about a device that shorts one module
in a series at a preset low temperature. It would act like a bypass
diode on a shaded module controlled by a thermistor so at a preset
temperature the array would drop in voltage. This would probably not
cause much loss of power because as soon as the sun hit the array
directly, it would warm up and drop in voltage.
I will work on the idea.
