Hi Jay,
I too would like more information.
As best I understand it, I have no actual source data, there are six
silicon refineries in the world, with 1 or 2 coming on line this year.
Earlier this year there was a rapid expansion of both the semiconductor
and solar PV markets, which led to a supply problem.
That supply problem is supposed to ease this year, but information is
difficult to come by.
I recall tripping over a silicon trading marketplace on the web last
year, but cannot find a current reference for that.

Does anyone else have better information on this subject??
