Trojan L-16 date codes [RE-wrenches]

I need help in deciphering Trojan L-16 codes stamped on the posts.

A battery distributor just tried to deliver (I refused) the following L-16
G's. They looked like hell and the voltages were all low (6.03 to 6.15 - at
rest voltages obviously).

K24 on one post, A5 on the other.

H13 , J4

D14 , F5

G21  , H5

What vintage are these batteries. They look like they have been sitting out
in somebody's warehouse for awhile.
