Tom,

It's a VERY light-duty pump jack. Beautifully made, but more like a 
delicate lab gadget than a real-world pump.  If everything is just 
right, it's OK but it's not likely to last long if used continually.

That's my conclusion from looking at one once and from talking with one 
PV dealer who had some experience with it.

It was developed as a Y2K product first as a handpump, then expanded 
into electric -- intended primarily as a backup.

My info is a few years old, so take it from there.
