As a contractor who has replaced 6 of 8 installed MM5000 with a Beacon Power
M5, I would recommend the NEW unit. The M5 is a more robust re-design that
has a user friendly PC interface and color graphics with data loging.
The only note of caution is that the NEW M5 is about 5" taller than the
MM5000 due to the re- designed fan airflow ducting.
Bottom end is a solid aluminum plate that is removable to mark and make K.O.
for your connections.
