Any failures, notable
efficiency losses, weird glitches? What brand converter: BZ, Solar
Converters, Zane, others?
Allan,
I generally tap the battery for my 12 v loads then us an equalizer to
rebalance the strings.
I have generally had problems (failure) using the Solar Converter product. In
each case, the remedy was to use the Vanner product. No failures with these-
Another solution--Use a high quality 12 volt power supply (Iota etc) with
high efficiency tied to the inverter output. Some losses but very reliable and
you don't risk seriously unbalancing your battery set if the equalizer fails.
Best,Don
