Tom,
Most MPPT charge controllers will take an array wired at 24 or 48V and
convert it down to 12 or 24V battery -- as an extension of the normal
MPPT process.
These include controllers made by Blue Sky (formerly RV Power) and
Outback and BZ Products.
BZ is less well known but they have low cost, and very good stuff,
quick development and good service. When you talk to Frank, blame me
for sending you.
