Hey Allan,

Digikey is who I order most of my smaller electronics from.  Good prices
and prompt service.  Ask for the data sheet to be included or all you
get is product.  1-800-digikey (ask for a catalog) or on-line.

I haven't seen the small regulators I was speaking of at voltages as
high as 48 and the efficiency goes way down (and heat dissipation up)
when there is such a high/low voltage contrast.
