I have only two tracker experiences, Both are about 4
years old, the mechanical electric motor drive behaves
much better and is more accurate, BUT it lost, after
3+ years, its drive motor due to water, a poor design
allowed water to enter the motor. However it was an
easy fix for the owner, I sold him the motor at cost,
and he has put a shield on it. The mechanical is a
1500 watt tracker. I have measured the electrical
energy, ( 12 volts) and is is negligible.

The Zome works continues to work. Al though wind and
confusion sometimes gets it off track. The Zome works
is a 300 watt. i
