Barbra,
Talk to Stefani and Zomeworks. She has always been very helpful to us.

Bill - I have seen a few Zomeworks throughout california in rural settings.
I was impressed as I drove upon them, but when I looked at the detail of the
install and how the modules shook, even in the lightest of winds, it was of
concern to me. Furthermore, multiple attempts to gain information and
education beyond (Zomeworks)website for specific applications were
fruitless. Calls went unanswered. My last attempt was perhaps 18-24 months
ago. Over the last 5 years, I have inquired probably 5 -7 times without
response. When you have an application where tracking is needed or desired
by the client you need answers not unanswered calls. Bill I understand the
limitations of a mechanical tracker especially coming out of the SHW on the
late 70s and early 80. Trackers are not for just anyone, however with the
right client, neither maintenance or cost is a primary issue.

Barbra

Barbra,

I'm wondering how you can come to the conclusion that WattSun is superior to
Zomeworks by reading a WattSun website? With all due respect, it seems to be
jumping to conclusions. Not defending Zomeworks at all--just trying to ask a
basic question.

If it's a windy place, bolt it down and leave it. Going after the additional
energy at that location will likely end up with a broken tracker facing the
wrong direction in year three of operation.

I assume this is in California where you get paid for modules not kWh. How
many big tracking systems are in California--NONE as part of the rebate
programs. The only big trackers in the state are on Municipal utilities that
don't have a rebate program. Are trackers good--if you get the right ones
and their robust and cheap enough. In a California rebate program they just
don't compute.

Bill.
