Don't write off Zomworks. I got my first 4-module Zomeworks tracker in 1979
and traded in 1984 to a friend who is still using it. I've sold hundreds of
Zomeworks trackers and have only had a few problems (1 damaged in shipment -
free replacement; a few with wimpy shock absorbers - free replacement). I've
sold a few WattSun and they are good too if you want 2-axis tracking. Both
companies sell you your money's worth.

Barbra,

I'm wondering how you can come to the conclusion that WattSun is superior to
Zomeworks by reading a WattSun website? With all due respect, it seems to be
jumping to conclusions. Not defending Zomeworks at all--just trying to ask a
basic question.

If it's a windy place, bolt it down and leave it. Going after the additional
energy at that location will likely end up with a broken tracker facing the
wrong direction in year three of operation.

I assume this is in California where you get paid for modules not kWh. How
many big tracking systems are in California--NONE as part of the rebate
programs. The only big trackers in the state are on Municipal utilities that
don't have a rebate program. Are trackers good--if you get the right ones
and their robust and cheap enough. In a California rebate program they just
don't compute.

Bill.
