I totally agree, I don't believe that there should be that much sag, 
it's inconsistent with my experiences.  I'd have it checked or simply 
try a different SW+ (or...) to see if the same problems repeated.

I've run a few SW+ here, both pre production and the current 
off-the-floor unit which runs the homestead.  We're fairly brutal; 
lattes at low voltge,with waterpump, washing machine all the while and 
power is pretty stable.  When we tried an Out Back for a while and load 
stability was similar; both just fine for our humble standards.

Perhaps the 'secret' to our sucess is lots of lead.  Behind the battery 
are twelve 2 Vdc tubular plate cells (85T21).  Its 13 years old but 
still delivers gobs of current with reasonable glee.  I often find 
inverter underperformance issues are really caused by too small 
batteries being asked for too much work.  (I'm not suggesting that this 
is the case in Ray's case).
