Just to add the excitement, I almost got hit by lightning this sunday. I 
was standing under an overhead power line about 10 ft above me and to the 
side, when I heard the dreaded "buzzzapp" of an electric arc. I looked up 
to see about a four ft or so arc jump off the line into the sky. Then the 
whole sky lit up followed a 1/2 second later by a huge thunderclap. Who 
wants to place bets on how close I came to getting hit?
That's the closest I ever came.
