We have about a dozen Sharp Sunvistas in the field.  One failure after about
7 months on one of the three DC input channels.  Sharp was very supportive
and quickly replaced the inverter with a new one.  Somewhat quicker than
dealing with Sunny Boy failures as they let us work through our wholesaler
and get a replacement immediately, rather than dealing with the manufacturer
and having to ship back the failed unit for repair.

Overall I like it.  The three independent DC input channels are nice, as is
the remote display.  They install nicely too.  We use it as our standard for
3 to 4.2 kwp systems and in difficult shading situations.  Energy output
history has been excellent in all installations.

Does anyone have feedback to give on the Sharp
SunVista inverter?  Anyone had failures with the fan
or any other components?  If so, what kind of support
and turn-around did you get?
