Each positive and negative is terminated at its own inverter so it is only
sensing the ground faults of its own circuit. Square D put together some
confusing drawings some time back showing how one 361 switch could be used
to switch three inverters. This diagram showed the negatives being combined
before they reached the inverter.

This is not what Square D meant to convey in the drawing, and you would
never want to combine the negatives as this would divide the ground current
between the three inverters. This means it would take over 3 amps of ground
current in one of the three combined systems to actually trip the fuse.

How is it that the multiple GFDIs in the Sunnyboys do
not see each other as ground faults? DC - is connected
to ground through the 1 amp fuse at each inverter,
right?
