Hi Jay, try a doobell, Nutone makes a variety of doorvbell chimes some
electromchanical, others electronic with selectable tunes. A relay
closure will activate the chime. It might be really annoying repeating
the tune when the relay stays closed, but it won't hurt anything.
Alternately when the relay stays closed, you could use the old two tone
doorbell chime "Bing - - Bong", it strikes one bell on switch closure
and the other on switch opening.
good luck cul deant
