One thing I have never seen done at a Laundromat is a waste water heat
exchanger. At a Laundromat most folks wash in hot or warm, since it costs the
same number of quarters to do a load regardless of the water temperature. All
that hot soapy water going down the drain seems like a huge BTU waste. One could
probably steal some of the heat out of those dryer exhaust vents too...
