Wrenches,
I calculated the cost and longivety of using L-16's vs125's (Trojan) for my
system, and the 125's won out. Plus they are easier to handle.
I have used (24) Trojan T-125 250ah batteries in my system for almost 8
years now and because I take care of them (not discharging them more than
50%), and my specific gravity is 12.50 and above. I don't know how long they
are going to continue, but so far, so good.
Just my 2 cents worth.
SUNcerely,
Frank Fowler

What do people mean by the phrase "golf cart batteries". I often hear this
and
am unsure if there is a specific battery designed for golf carts, or what?
Trojan T-105 is one designation. This is a 6 volt 220 ah lead antimony
battery. Used greatly in golf carts.
