William and Ray,

I assume that the Other brand you refer to is the same as the one that I
(mercilessly) reported on while doing a quad stack? If so, we noted a
similar phenomenon with that system as well. There was enough current to
ground with no loads to measure over one amp. I never would have noticed
except that I removed the ground lead to better route it in the AC
disconnect box. Nice spark!

I still don't understand why there was any current flow to ground, but
the system works beyond my expectations anyway. Lucky me!

Maybe it just wouldn't be alternative energy without alternative
behavior?
