Maybe they are trying to make the perfect PV module for The OutBack MX60
MPPT controller - Four of these in series should work fine in all but
the coldest locations - Vmp would be 100 vdc and a VOC of 128 VDC ...

The math actually works out the same as three of the typical 24 vdc
modules in series - i.e 4 x 54 = 3 x 72 = 6 x 36
