large -48VDC inverter recommendation [RE-wrenches]

The current draw of the inverter will be over 4000 amps at 48 vdc for a
180 kWAC inverter system - impressive. I know it is actually done in
the telcom world - just thought the current levels involved sounded
wild.

Technically, it is possible for us to do this with the OutBack FX series
- and we do plan on doing it - we just need to make a master control
unit out of an inverter control board and a AC board - we already have
the redundancy working in the present product (except that we use one FX
inverter as a master - all the slaves inverters can already be "hot
swapped" or shutdown without any issues. With a master control unit all
the inverters will operate as just slaves.

What is your the time frame required for the delivery?

You might talk with RMS electric in Boulder, Co - Mark or Jan - I know
they have sold some large telcom inverters in the past that were similar
(www.rmse.com).
