Wrenches,
Anyone have problems with the trace meter 500 combined with a C-40 digital
display in a 48v system?
When the TM500 is connected the C-40 "locks up" giving erratic current
readings and cutting solar input. When the solar input is disconnected the
TM500 works fine with inverter loads and the C-40 meter goes quiet at zero
amps.
I have been advised that this is caused by noise from the 48v shunt board
and that capacitors and ferrite beads at the C-40 may solve the problem, but
in this case these measures did not work.
Anyone come across this problem and another possible solution?
