Group,

I'm desighing a system with 10 kw peak of pv and multiple Sunnyboys. The
owner has an existing 30 kw Kohler generator w/ ATS that transfers the main
panel to generator during a power failure. What's the best way to disconnect
the backfed Sunnyboy circuits from the panel during a power failure? I don't
want the Sunnyboys to think generator power is the grid and refuse to
disconnect as a result, attempting to put solar AC into the panel &
generator. There are easy contactor / relay senarios of course, but do any
of you have a preferred method? or is the Sunnyboy smart enough to limit
output if the power cannot be "absorbed" anywhere?

thanks for your help, Kirk
