NABCEP: Happy with the testing, disappointed with the name. [RE-wrenches]

How about "Master of Mystical Solar Sciences"?  Or "Professional Photon
Pursuer"?  Or "Doctor of Cosmic Energy Gatherer?"

I'm pleased to have taken and passed the test. However I'm not real happy
about the name. I've talked to several installers and all of my customers
over the past few months and there is universal dismay with the name NABCEP.

Certified Energy Practitioner: "Practitioner" is a name regularly used in
the health science professions. Put the word "Energy" before Practitioner
and what do you have? Everyone that I have spoken with think that it refers
to some new age alternative medicine practice.
Even if they get the "Energy" part as being electrical in nature, the term
"Energy Practitioner" is too broad. Is it Renewable (how would they know)?
Or is it fission, fusion, or whatever?

I'd like to put something on my truck, web site, and other marketing tools
that refers to what I do and the fact that I am nationally certified. NABCEP
does not simply do the job.

My work is with PV / Solar Electric Systems and that is what I was tested
on.
I would have hoped for something with one of the following names in it.
Solar, PV or Renewable Power.
Several years ago Windy Dankoff put forward a suggestion that we call
ourselves "PV System Specialists". That pretty much says what we were tested
on.

It has been bugging me, so I thought that I would throw it out to the group.
