HI Bill,
I totally agree with you. I've been installing 1 string of 12 x 185 watt
panels for 2200 watts. Works perfect, and fits into my climate area. Easy
and quick to install, less racking and I don't stress the inverter at all!
The photowatt panels are a strange size, pretty much square, so they take
more racking than the other major brands.
