pv for the military [RE-wrenches]

Not everything our military does is for war. Case in point- My first
military install was a Cherry Point USMC. This system was to aid the weather
station radar center and provide necessary UPS backup in the case of
hurricanes, which just slammed Cherry Point, NC yesterday. The information
is also used by The Weather Channel, and to aid agencies prepare for natural
disasters. I cannot see a much more deserving installation, for the military
and the safety of US citizens, than to aid in warning people of the
intensity of a hurricane before it hits land.
All other installations have also been for the benefit of the public in
general, and in no way have been used in any war like preparation. I have
been very impressed at what our military does do for our benefit of its
citizens...and they keep it secret to.
Best Regards,
Dan Whigham
