It makes no sense not to use MPPT in the Vermont or any cold climate. I
mandate MPPT controllers in all my full-time systems. When you explain
the benefits in winter charging to the customer, it's a no-brainer for
them to make the additional investment.

It will do more for the SAME money for folks in Vermont in winter.
I'm a big fan of it also. The RV Solar Boost controllers are so
nicely designed that even without MPPT they would be a favorite.
