Another reason to dislike tray cable [RE-wrenches]

Friends:

Thanks for the several suggestions.  A common theme in these suggestions is
"custom fabricated":  I'm trying to avoid doing that type of thing as it
costs time and money.

Another suggestion was just to purchase long tray cable with MC connectors.
 The module mounting posts are on the platform of a water tower.  I would
have to run the tray cable across the edge of this platform.  I suppose I
could slot some conduit like was suggested.  If I have MC extension cables
(one end bare, one end with the proper gender MC connector) I could run
them into a weather head and pull them through unslotted conduit to the
combiner.  Still, seems kind of Rube Goldberg like.  I'll take this back to
the drawing board...
