Dual Windseeker 503 Wirerun [RE-wrenches]

Travis,
The old Windseeker series had the controller built into the back of
the alternator. So the output at the base of the tower is straight DC.
It's okay to join the two together...IF the wire is sized large enough
to avoid voltage drop. The turbine's only sense of battery voltage comes
from that connection. If you're jamming in enough current to raise the
voltage significantly, the turbine will think the batteries are full
long before they really are, and start dumping power.

It's been months since I've seen this install and these are the only
Windseeekers I've dealt with. From a pretty shaky memory the
controllers
are built into the turbine itself. Coming down from both turbines is 24
VDC
nom. They look like AC Delco alternators with a white paint job and
blades
bolted where the pulley is supposed to be.
