I have the famous "Maytag Toploader" heavy duty wash machine and it is a 
beast.  Truely a ugly load - during start, while agitating and when 
spinning.  
  
The FX2024 does run it but I doubt it would with a 1/3 HP well pump on 
as well (which was my same experience with the U2524 inverter btw a few 
years ago - and is probably why the inverter failed).  

So either lock out the washer while the well pump is on or get the 
customer to replace the washer with something more efficient (probably 
the best option).
