waterproof wire nuts [RE-wrenches]

All:

FYI:

I've used thousands (personally) of the King Brand with no complaints
other than, if you remove them you get the ***t all over yourself. I do
NOT re-use wire-nuts, by the way. A brand-new one is always used, as
well as re-stripping the wire if it is at all scarred.

I found that Home Depot's Special Orders Desk can get them in bulk
quantities (500 and 1000, depending on size) for WAY lower prices
(memory says the Red/Yellow one is like $0.24 each in 25 packs).

25 may seem like a bunch on a "job" basis, but, I recommend getting a
quote on buying bulk. You may find that you actually come to "like the
little bastards"......

Pray for Sun!

Graham and Bill,

Those are the ones I use, along with the type with the white stuff
inside. I usually only buy these in groups of 10 or 12 so I don't know
what a good price would be for reasonable numbers. The set-screw variety
I use in well applications (brass cylinder with screw at each end with
waterproof shrink
tube)
those would be over-kill in the extreme.
