Good point, Jay. The extra redundency is a feature.
I still like the DC generator for the other features,
battery substitute, no transition from inverter system
to gen system, no bypass relay, very straight forward
controls and wiring. Power optimization with the
inverters. The RE system must have large enough
battery and RE sources to make this system smooth.
