Piezo gas stoves [RE-wrenches]

I have a Peerless Premier Pro SS model and like it a lot with one big exception - the burners are only 8000 btu max. and low is not quite low enough but usable. High is pretty wimpy and most decent stoves out there are 12,000 - 14,000 btu. I'm about to drill out the jets but would like feedback from anyone who has done this and can recommend a drill size?
Thanks,
