SW Plus comments? [RE-wrenches]

Ezra,

How loud is the SW-Plus inverter/charger?
The old Trace PS units were way too loud and the SW's are too noisy for some
applications. The Out Back FX inverter/chargers are very quiet so we spec
them in situations were the SW's audible buzz is just too much.

Hi all,

I've been running various iterations of pre production SW Plus for some
time now. No complaints (Oh sure I'd like lighter, cheaper etc.) I'm
particularly pleased with the new menu structure (easier to follow) and
the strong surge on the 2.5 kW version (FCC part
B is nice too). Wave form is same as ever, bit of noise on the cheap
CFL's etc. All in all I think the SW Plus is a good evolution to the
venerable SW line. I'd classify the SW Plus as mature and view it in
the same way I'd view a big block V8 - maybe not leading edge but sure
powerful and reliable. I'm interested in hearing from Allan when he
gets his up and running as I may have a somewhat biased view having
worked as the product manager for the Plus.

Cheers

Ken,
We have one sitting here in our shop, but I don't have much feedback to
give you. I will be installing it in my own home system as soon as the
DCCB and ACCB are available. I have been told mid-September for these.
It's a little frustrating, as I would like to give feedback to this list
ASAP, but I don't want to cobble it together if the boxes are due to
arrive in a matter of weeks. They appear to require their own specific
CBs. The ACCB includes the DIN rail feature used in the T240 that allows
7 positions for an IBS and QOU load breakers--a nice feature. Allan at
