Bill, I do see some leadership here. You are up front and I'd like to also 
acknowledge Bob O Shultze, Alan Sindelar and other wrenches active in the 
NABCEP project. IPP from its inception (read the bylaws) has taken a stand to 
encourage a professional installing infrastructure and a majority of our 
board endorses NABCEP. Not suggesting that this is the endall solution to the 
problem, but a start.

There is some real crap passing out there. Almost weekly I get a call about 
cleaning up someone elses mess. The problem is the perps are probably not 
even on this list. What problems they ask? 

Other than the modest effort I personally devote to this and other issues 
regarding the "installling infrastructure" I don't have any concrete 
suggestions. I would offer our IPP web site and modest resources to anyone 
who wnated to take on a project addressing this issue.
