waterproof wire nuts [RE-wrenches]

I've been using set screw style wire nuts on my DC wiring for the last
four years. Gooping them with a dab of silicon can't hurt, especially in
marine environments, but I don't know if it's necessary from a Code POV.
I don't suppose anyone knows if they come in an "outdoor" version?
