grounding plate vs. rod? [RE-wrenches]

Scott,
Unfortunately they're probably right! That's the same method recommended by
a consulting firm for a good ground in the rocky soil at a radio transmitter
site I'm doing a wind project for in California. The only difference is they
called for a plate about three times the size of the one you have to hassle
with.
