I-V Curves [RE-wrenches]

Things to mull (off the top of my head):

1. Is the I-V curve valuable to the customer? I
agree that its nice to be able to provide
comprehensive info, but the cost of I-V trace
products is high. Also, will the customer understand
and appreciate the info?

2. The I-V trace is a snapshot in time. As you know,
insolation, temperature, and atmospherics all effect
the curve. Were you going to use it as a benchmark?

3. How about cheating by just drawing a curve shape
based on the pv module's literature and labeling it
with the I, V, and w/m2 from your existing
instruments? Should be close enough or am I missing
something??
