Another option that we have used with good success
(BTW, we ground each module), is to pre-plan the array
on a per module orientation. Then we pre-load the
over-hanging edge of each module with a grounding lug
before it hits the roof, making sure that the lug's
screw is backed out. Once a single string of modules
is erected (usually 4 to a tile-trac) we pull bare
solid #6 copper through all of the aligned lugs and
terminate it on a lug on the rack. Its usually a
pretty easy pull. If its a flush mount, we use a
right-angle screwdriver to set the screws in the lugs
on the wire. Confused??? I did this on my pole mount
and I have a digital photo of the underside. We
essentially do the same thing on all of our roof
mounts.
