I've never played with a motor that size (130 LB thrust),
> is it 24 volt?
Kurt and All,
Yes it is 24 volts and max draw is 76 amps. It actually consists of 2, 65
Lb Thrust motors tied together.
I have learned a bit since my first inquiry and will attempt to summarize it
for the list next week after I digest and distill it into a brief (I hope)
summary.
PV will be a tough sell here I am afraid as the summer fog events often last
till afternoon and often many days in a row. Enough PV would require a
canopy which adds windage. I mostly see the PV as extending range on the
sunny days which are many in the fall, and not rare in the winter.
Take care,
Wally Stahle
