The QOUs are factory certified for 125VDC. I taking that as adequate
especially considering I have excellent AIC protection with the Class T.
This does not meet the letter of the code, but I believe it satisfies the
spirit.
The outback unit lists for $139 without breakers or fuse holders. Fuse
holders are $18 and breakers are $12. this drives the price to equal the
competition.
(My supplier is Pacific Energy, 805-544-4700, John Ewan. John has never
been able to get a price list for Outback component parts. If Outback is
reading this, maybe they can rectify the situation. I'd like to try
Outback but this lack of pricing has been an impediment.)
