Isolation transformer [RE-wrenches]

Friends:

Wasn't there a thread recently in which someone wanted to use a three phase
generator on a single phase or 120 only system?  All replies suggested a
mechanical converter.  Wouldn't a transformer like the one requested below
(but larger) be a solution to that problem?  I wondered this at the time,
but I have no experience with this type of transformer nor did I have time
to research it.
