Solar Subsidies [RE-wrenches]

This is off topic but I think the lower rate of gun crime in Canada is due
to the fact that they are NOT allowed to own hand guns, and it is getting
worse real fast for rifles. You can't even hunt without a LOT of BS.

Coupled with the fact that they PUNISH criminals for the crimes not coddle
them, like we do.

As far back as the 1967 Olympics a NYC policeman (I think he was NYC) was
found to have his service revolver with him and he spent almost a year in
the klink before they would release him!

If you want to live in a socialist country look at Canada, they are getting
closer everyday.
The healthcare system does not work, that's why the people with money come
over here and pay for healthcare.

I live 15 minutes from the border, so I have some familiarity with what I
speak.

Just had to get in here.

I agree but what's the murder RATE per population? I'm sure we're still
much higher but that number might be a better way to look at it?

FYI populatin of Canada = 31,414,000
                 USA     = 281,421,906 (2000 census)

Population ratio roughly 9:1

Death by gun ratio (previously reported) 170:1

Since Candians own guns too, I think it must be the warmer weather (or
fluoridation) that is the cause.
