Hey Travis,

I just got done installing it's cousin - custom made 5 pole linear
tracker for 10 KW (5 poles - 4 sections totalling 106' long). But it
uses the same components as the AZ-300 and we used the AC to DC
option as well.

I found it to be really well built and easy to install.

Man hours will be different for the linear versus dual. But once you
have your foundation and crane ready it should be no more than day or
a day and a half for two guys from there (if your ready) to get the
tracker up and operational and panels mounted.

The power supply seems beafy. I fed it with 120 VAC (it'll take
240) and it holds output voltage perfectly no matter what's going in.
It does get a little hot and could use some ventillation. (and is
moisture sensitive). I mounted it in an outdoor 10 x10 x 4" box and
bonded the case (both heat sink wise and electrically) to the box. I
also turned up the voltage from 24 to 28 as the tracker seems happier
with that. (It's designed to run on a PV panel and it's a 36 VDC
motor but you might want to run that by Ron).

And Ron and Michael give superb tech support.

Have a smooth install!

Jeff
