Matt, I don't think that the heat in the closet ( it's not bad at all ) will
affect the over all performance of the ac. It will certainly be more
efficient over all than setting the units out side. We are putting a small
dc cabinet fan in the wall over the closet and venting the door to keep air
circulating. It's a 10 ft wide closet and the 4 feet we used is partitioned
off from the rest. for now the sliding door stays open.
