Have had the fridge/freezer combo for years with no problems. I definately
understates it's energy consumption, I can use up to 1.5 kW/h on a hot
summer day. Very nice thing about this machine is the fridge and freezer are
on seperate controlls. We keep ours in a unheated pantry and get to turn
the frigde off during the low-PV cool winter months.
All-in all I would recommend a Conserve (Vestfrost). You also might want to
check out the SunDanzer. It's a competitive product from eastern Europe
which also uses a Danfoss compressor.
