Bill,
That clarifies this to a certain respect. I will have to check what UL 
listing the orange stuff I use to see if it is okie dokie for applications in 
battery banks. It very well may not be listed for what I use it for, but I 
have soaked this stuff in just about every toxic thing I can find, and it 
does not degrade. Just my two cents worth.......
